Your flat fee

$195

Quoted upfront and locked, provided your answers are complete.

What you are paying for

Federal 1040 + one state
$195
  • This fee is locked, provided the facts you gave us are complete.
  • We re-quote once, before any work begins, if we find a form, entity or state we were not told about, or books that turn out to be unreconciled.
  • Quote valid for 30 days.

How the fee is built

Individual returns from $195

W-2s, interest, dividends, dependants, standard deduction, e-file, one state.

Additions are priced per form or task: extra states, itemising, self-employment, rentals, brokerage volume, crypto, K-1s, equity compensation and foreign reporting. Anything above $1,200 is quoted by a CPA rather than instantly.

Business returns from $495

S-corp (1120-S), partnership (1065), C-corp (1120) and trust or estate (1041) returns. Revenue scales the base fee, because volume genuinely scales the work.

The state of your books is priced honestly rather than hidden, and adding the owner's personal 1040 earns a bundle discount. Anything above $3,500 is quoted by a CPA.

Pricing questions

Do I have to give my email to see a price?

No. Valim shows the full itemised quote before asking for anything. Only booking a call requires contact details.

Is the quoted fee binding?

Yes, provided the facts given are complete. Valim re-quotes once before work begins if a form, entity or state was not disclosed, or if books turn out to be unreconciled. The fee never changes after work has started.

How long is a quote valid?

Thirty days from the date it is generated.
